This Roman can be raised and lowered; but not recommended for Lengths over 50". It is mounted on wood (1x4 for outside mount OR 1x2 for an inside mount) and is easy to install.
***If you intend to raise this shade daily, this may not be the best choice for a shade. It tends to look a little "messy" at the bottom when used often.
